Meet the Team
Paul A. Bachmann grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he developed a lifelong passion for the entertainment industry. During his early years, he formed a friendship with acclaimed filmmaker John Hughes, who became an important mentor and introduced Paul to the world of celebrities and the entertainment business. Building on those early experiences, Paul went on to work in celebrity security, serving as a bodyguard for numerous high-profile musical artists touring through the Chicago area, including Kiss, Britney Spears, Willie Nelson, and many others. His professionalism and dedication allowed him to establish lasting friendships and working relationships with actors, musicians, directors, and beloved television and film personalities. Paul later became the Public Relations Manager and official spokesperson for the cast of A Christmas Story. During his three-year tenure, he played a significant role in promoting the cast and helping generate excitement surrounding A Christmas Story Christmas, contributing to the film's successful launch and continued fan engagement. Today, Paul A. Bachmann brings decades of entertainment industry experience, extensive celebrity relationships, and a passion for public relations to Mysticat Promotions LLC. As part of the Mysticat Promotions team, he continues to connect celebrities with fans through conventions, special appearances, private signings, and promotional events across the country.
